Gold heap leaching operation

Heap leaching is the ore will be mined to transport the prepared yard on the heap, or directly in the stockpiling of waste or low grade ore, spray or infiltration by cyanide leaching solution, the solution generated by the ore leaching effect, cycle times cyanide leaching solution, repeated spraying of ore heap leaching, and then collected liquid with active carbon adsorption and zinc replacement method.

The typical process flow of common heap leaching is shown in Figure 1. The gold position of this heap leaching process is generally 1-3 grams per ton, and the recovery rate of gold is 50-80%.

Sinonine has been on leaching gold ore heap, and have been in many mines of gold ore heap leaching production practice, and achieved good results. The process of heap leaching is generally 1000-10000 tons per pile, and the recovery rate of gold can reach 60%-80%. The gold ore heap leaching process shown in figure 2.

The main production steps are made up of the following parts:

Construction of heap leaching field

Heap leaching at the slope near the site generally choose mountain mining and convenient transportation (natural slope of 10-15 degrees), first used bulldozers to weed and dust, and solid, built into a slope of 5 degrees to the ground on both sides of the high, middle, lower, easy to extract concentrated flow into the liquid storage groove. Heap leaching field spread two layer polyethylene plastic film, on which a layer of felt paper, in order to make the site no leakage.

Ore pile

First ore will be broken to -50 mm, then manually transported to the yard for stacking and stacking, and lump ore and powder ore should be evenly distributed, so as to avoid concentrating the powder concentrate and affecting the permeability of the ore heap. The pile height is generally 2.5-5 meters.

Spray leaching

Before spraying, we use saturated lime water to wash ore and neutralize acid substances in the ore. When the pH value of the effluent from the bottom of the ore pile reaches more than 9, the leaching solution is sprayed. The leaching solution cyanide concentration 0.03%-0.1%, pH 10-11, leaching liquid spray amount -65L/T.D, spray time 45-60 days, spray leaching three shift operation, every 1 hours sprinkling for 1 hours.

Desorption of carbon carrying gold

The reactivation of the desorption carbon and the melting of the gold mud are exactly the same as that of the conventional charcoal plant. Not every dump site should be equipped with a gold charcoal processing workshop. A gold charcoal processing workshop can be set up in one area or a county, or a large scale carbon pulp plant nearby is used to deal with it. Heap leaching yard can sell gold charcoal as a commodity.
